"While working on creating Joorie, I kept having flashbacks of the farm where my family used to go during our summer vacations. There were two acres of land surrounding the little house, fenced with pine trees along the edges. Berries, figs, jasmine , petunias, chamomiles and lavenders were just a few of the many plants we had growing in the gardens. Most majestic of all was the rose bush that produced the most beautiful red flowers, and it was this plant that I visited daily, not only to see the sublime velvety red petals and superior elegance of the roses, but also to capture a scent of the sensual perfume that this rose so elegantly emitted." - Moe Khalaf (Founder and Creative Officer of Kajal).

This was the main inspiration behind Joorie's scent. Working with Drom perfumer Alix Miral, a masterpiece was created.

An inviting and warm note of nutmeg/clove creates the initial aroma of Joorie. Lemon and bergamot add a touch of freshness to the aroma, while traces of ginger and pepper remain not far behind.

The heart of the fragrance is rose infused with the fruity, almost banana-like notes of ylang-ylang and orange blossom.

The base notes and dry down of the fragrance is a beautiful honey scent masked with musk, tonka bean and a sandalwood/cedar wood blend that creates a lasting impression for the wearer that leaves you wanting more.
